Benefit of Kanyashree Prakalpa

Rupsharee project was launched by Honorable Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamta Banerjee in 2018.

Through this project, the state government will extend financial support to the marriage of poor girls. For the lack of financial support, women could not get married, this was the main purpose of the Rupshree project. Under this project, state government will provide a one-time financial grant of Rs 25000 for the marriage of poor families.
