Job Description for Director, Commercial Account Executive Lead UKI Vacancies in London (Visa )

 

This role will lead the Commercial Account Executive team ensuring VBS and UKI organisations effectively manage a portfolio of B2B / Commercial issuers helping these clients and Visa reach their objectives
The role is designed to ensure Visa and Visa Business Solutions (VBS) fully unlock the growth potential of our pure Commercial accounts in UKI
Specific accountabilities will include:
Act as the European Account Lead
Lead a team of account executives who manage and develop a wide array of diverse Commercial / B2B issuers e.g. Tier 1-3, established Fintech, nascent players, etc
Provide steer, coaching and guidance to the team in relation to the Commercial payments landscape, Visa solutions & services, the account management cycle and client interactions
Accountable for prioritising resources across the B2B / Commercial Accounts team and balancing competing demand across multiple accounts or products
Ensure strategic account plans are in place for all Commercial issuers so clients thrive and can successful meet their financial and non-financial objectives
Work with clients to identify new and ongoing requirements, introducing new B2B & Commercial products and services as appropriate, endeavouring to break down silos and work together as “One Visa”
Ensure the Account Executive team stays current with industry and client trends and maintain a strong knowledge of Visa products and services
Act as a point of escalation for the Commercial clients, regularly liaising with senior stakeholders and ensuring an ongoing quality relationship is maintained

 

 

Director, Commercial Account Executive Lead UKI: Job Qualifications

Strong relevant experience in managing account management, business development, or client relationship teams within the payments ecosystem
• Strong knowledge of the B2B / Commercial payments
• An experienced people leader, with the ability of providing guidance on developing the strategy and supporting the more tactical execution
• Exceptional communication skills, with ability to negotiate with and influence key stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally to VISA
• The ability to successfully operate and lead in a matrix environment, comfortable working with ambiguity and managing through change
• High orientation towards teamwork and cross functional working, with the ability to partner with multiple teams to deliver on VISA’s vision
• Ability to challenge preconceived attitudes and behaviours and shape future thinking
