Our client, a well-known event management company based in Abu Dhabi, is currently looking for a Sponsorship and Business Development Manager (Cultural Affairs) with a background in Cultural Affairs.

Other responsibilities will include:
- In this role, you will be primarily responsible for fostering long-term partnerships with current sponsors and developing new sponsor relationships around events and programs in coordination with the Senior Managers and managing private cash and in-kind fundraising in the form of appropriations and corporate sponsorships for annual events and programs and offering value for returns on corporate social responsibility investments to participating companies and individuals.
Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Oversee development and delivery of sponsorship benefits in coordination with related departments, including Education, Community, Visual Arts, Production, Marketing & Communications.
- Identify and fill the technology needs of the role to ensure that processes are performed efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Collaborating with local diplomatic partners to ensure a positive image of the organization for social business events in the cultural dimension
- Executing strategies relating to public affairs communication that can best cultivate and builds upon existing relations with strategic partners
- Maintain updated documentation and programming initiatives in line with sponsorship agreements.
- Keep a record of all expenditures incurred through the development of each sponsor.
- Develop and implement business strategies that maintain existing sponsorship and increase the potential for new sponsorship.
- Coordinate all sponsorship & partnership development functions and resources, ensuring that all functions are executed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner.
- Execute and monitor functions, goals, objectives, and programs of sponsorship development.
Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree holder
- Have 5 years of related experience in sponsorship management within cultural affairs, museums, art exhibitions or live events
- Knowledgeable in creating budget / financial management
- Strong business development and social skills
- With valid UAE driving license
- Strong command of the English language; fluency in speaking Arabic is a plus
- Adaptable, confident person with the ability to think outside the box
- Willing to work in a target driven environment
