About School
Hari Om Yoga Vidya school is located at Tapovan, near Laxman Jhula, Rishikesh. The school is headed by Mr. Pramod Kumar Sahoo and his team of yoga instructors.
The school is a 5 minutes’ walk from the main Tapovan Badrinath highway. Please ensure that you have read the directions carefully. If you book through us, we will drop you to the school. If you are approaching the school otherwise, please arrive at Syndicate Bank, Tapovan Rishikesh and call Mr. Pramod to guide you for further directions.
The school runs the Yoga teacher training program throughout the year. On average there are 15-18 students in every batch.
Location
The school is located near Tapovan- Badrinath highway and those who want to explore the area can take a tour around on foot. Laxman Jhula is 10 minutes walk from the school.
Accommodation
There is a total of 13 standard rooms available at the school, including both AC and Non- AC rooms. The rooms are located on the first and second floor of the school.
Yoga Hall
The Yoga hall is located on the first floor. The yoga hall can accommodate a maximum of 18 persons at a time.
Food
An everyday food menu is fixed by the management. The school has listed the varieties available and meals are prepared according to the list. Please click on the link at the bottom of the page to check out the food served every day.
Class size
The class size is small and usually, there are around 15-18 students in a batch.
Payment and cancellation
To reserve a seat, an advance payment of 210 USD is required. The advance payment is refundable if the cancellation is done before one week of the course start date. If the cancellation is done when there are less than 7 days left for the course to start, the advance amount will not be refunded.
The school accepts fees in cash at the school. All major currencies are accepted at the school.

Course Details
Course period:
The first (basic) set of 100 Hours/2 weeks starts on 2nd of every month and runs till 14th of that month. So, if you want to take a look at the school prior to enrolling, you can visit the school at 1st or 2nd of every month. The second (advanced) set of 100 Hours/2 weeks starts from 16th of every month and runs till 28th of that month.
Course details:
2 weeks, 100 Hours Yoga Teacher training program: The first two weeks covers the beginner level courses in Yoga. The Second set of 2 weeks, 100 hours covers advanced yoga teacher training program.
To be eligible for the course certification, the students have to complete all four weeks, 200 hours course. The students can do all four weeks at a stretch or in two different periods of 100 hours each.
Class schedule:
The classes start at 6:30 AM. The daily class schedule is fixed and the same classes are followed every day till completion of the course.
