Tungsten and Molybdenum Electrodes for Resistance Welding
BIMO fabricates standard and custom designs for electrodes used in resistance welding (aka: heat caulking). We can make them from tungsten, copper/tungsten alloy, and copper/molybdenum alloy.
Tungsten (W) and molybdenum (Mo) refractory metals and their alloy electrodes deliver high performance during resistance welding, and are principal in fusing electrodes and spot electrodes.
We start with round, square, or custom-shaped shafts and solder high-purity and high-melting-point electrode cores to them. By working closely with our customers, we find the optimal solution to welding issues.
We manufacture our electrodes in the following variants:
W, WL10, WL20
WCu70 / 30, WCu75 / 25, WCu80 / 20, WCu90 / 10
Mo, TZM
CuCrZr with W, WL10, WL20, Mo or TZM insert
Cu with insert W, WL10, WL20, Mo or TZM
