Job Description for Business Development Manager Vacancies in Vaughan, Ontario (ASSA ABLOY )

This position will report directly to the Director of DIY. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to support our efforts in building world-class mobile solutions for our direct-to-consumer products, as well as our business partners. You will be helping to drive top-line Smart Residential Sales across the August and Yale Brands by working with Key retailers in the Home Improvement and Consumer Electronics markets in Canada.

• Establish relationships with retail buyers and executives
• Develop an annual sales plan in support of organizational strategies and objectives
• Direct implementation and execution of sales policies and practices
• Manage multiple customer-selling strategies and identify new outlets for Smart Residential products
• Direct in-store execution
• Understand and report on market trends, competitive threats, and company opportunities
• Collaborate with other Smart Residential team members to ensure long-term product and marketing strategy aligns with retailer needs

Business Development Manager: Job Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience, primarily working with either hardware and home improvement or consumer electronics retailers
• BA/BS in Business/Marketing/Sales or in a related field. MBA preferred
• French speaking ability, preferred
