Job Description for Indirect Tax Manager, Finance/ Accounting Vacancies in London (Visa )
Reporting to the Head of Indirect Tax Advisory this role is responsible for providing support to the Visa Europe organization (including client facing teams) on the Indirect Tax consequences of existing and new Business initiatives.
About the role
Supporting the provision of advice to Account Executives and Visa Europe’s Finance Deal Team on the Indirect Tax implications of existing and new arrangements with clients including the review of contracts underpinning those arrangements.
Working with the wider Finance team to support the initiative to simplify and standardize client contracts.
Supporting negotiations with HMRC to reach resolution on any arrangements with clients.
Working in partnership with the Corporate Tax team to effectively review and report on legislative developments and identify new business activities with VAT implications.
Contributing to due diligence activities and structuring advice as required for M&A activities and supporting on subsequent integration activities.
Indirect Tax Manager, Finance/ Accounting: Job Qualifications
A VAT manager or experienced assistant manager in a multinational or Top Ten accounting firm or junior to mid level experience in an in house team.
• Experience in dealing with businesses with a partial exemption special method.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Able to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders at all levels and areas within the business.
